I’ve been working on short films, editing and writing since I was very young. I remember my friends and I running around after school using a camcorder I got for Christmas filming anything that interested us. This could be trying to do tricks on a bike or scooter, short sketches that we thought were funny, or even attempts at making action movies. I had to self learn how to edit things together. I got an interest in visual effects as well and would practice those for hours. I’d like to say that I have a good natural rhythm when it comes to editing. After years and years of editing and practicing I finally decided to go to college for what I want to be my career. I took all the Film, Television, and Theatre classes I could. All the while still making short films with new friends I had made through the years and continuing to keep my passion alive. I’d been making stuff since I was ten years old and I could never get enough of it. When I have a shoot coming, or an edit in progress, or a script that’s being written I can never get enough. Working on things like that holds a special place in my heart and I could do it forever.
